And it is County Fair time in Colorado – and I am sure all around the country but Colorado is where I am. 😉
This week I have been having fun at the Sand & Sage Roundup in Lamar. It’s a hour and a half drive for me each day but, as I have said before, Lamar is where I go shopping. It’s a trip that I have taken many times so the time goes quickly!
Animals and grandstand arenas can and will be smelly. My intent this week was reconnect with customers and to bring a little bit of fresh smell to the fair. I chose one of my all time favorite scents – Coconut Lemongrass – to share! I absolutely love this scent – it has a perfect combination of creamy coconut and lemongrass. One of the best feelings I can ever get as a Scentsy consultant is when I have customers who are excited to see the new Scentsy products – the Scentsy Diffusers and Scentsy Oils are a hit this year! But even better than the excitement is just the fact that I get to connect with my Scentsy customers. It is a chance for me to chat and catch up on what is going on with them. You see, my customers are more than just customers, they are friends that I truly care about.
This week I also was able to meet a little guy that I had the privilege to donate some Scentsy products for a fundraiser for him. He was born early and his community wanted to help him and his family out. I am blessed to be a Scentsy consultant for such an amazing company that encourages their consultants to share their core values of Simplicity, Authenticity, and Generosity.
I head back to the fair again today and tomorrow. I am hoping that I will be able to reconnect with more of my customers and make new friends. You know, sometimes someone you don’t know is just a friend you haven’t met yet. 🙂
