When I joined Scentsy just 7 years ago, I had no idea that I would soon be traveling the world Scentsy style! Places like Canada, Alaska, Hawaii, Costa Rica, Bahamas, and Dominican Republic, were all destinations I would love to visit but they were all destinations that I never thought we’d visit.
February 2009 I was informed that I had earned a trip to Banff, Canada for two! What an amazing trip that was (read Part 1 of my Traveling Scentsy Style)! But, the adventures weren’t to stop there – In May 2009 I received an email explaining the Fall Incentive trip – it was goiong to be a trip that had been on my husband’s bucket list – Alaska! There was no hesitation on my part – I would do what it took to be sure that my husband’s bucket list had one less item. So, to work I went daily!
I absolutely LOVE Scentsy and sharing the Scentsy opportunity so to me the 3 month incentive period flew by. I made a plan, and sure, I made adjustments as needed but I was determined to be on that Cruise to Alaska.
September 2009 came and my husband and I boarded the Holland America cruise line headed on our Scentsy Alaskan Voyage – our 2nd earned incentive trip! And what a trip that was – watching big beautiful crystal blue icebergs floating in the ocean, seeing the Hubbard Glacier, to an Alaskan salmon bake this trip was again once in a lifetime and most certainly Scentsy Style!
The seas were a little rough – when I say little, I am underestimating! It was the last cruise of the season and the seas were not typical! Even the employees on the ship were a little green. And talking about green, there were green apples and saltine crackers everywhere – and plastic bags just in case (I won’t go into detail on the bags as some of you may be reading this as you eat). Regardless of the seas, we had a BLAST. Many new memories made, friendships deepened and new friendships made. There was one evening that my husband and my friend’s husband went out to watch the ship cut through the HUGE SWELLS. They said it was spectacular – I said if you fall over, you are on your own.
